Medium: Acrylic painting

Size: 30 × 30 cm

Short Description: A graceful tribute to Thailand’s waterways, Thai women, and the deep cultural bond between rivers, canals, travel, and everyday life.

Artwork Description: Nirat Wari, meaning Waterside Elegy, celebrates the waterway traditions that have long shaped Thai life, history, and identity.

Through the image of a Thai woman resting in a wooden boat, surrounded by lotus leaves and calm water, the artist reflects the deep relationship between Thai people and rivers and canals. These waterways have served as routes for travel, settlement, trade, and daily living from the past to the present.

The painting presents this connection through a soft and graceful perspective, honouring both the beauty of Thai women and the enduring poetry of life by the water.
