Bangkok Awake

Artwork Name: Bangkok Awake

Artist: Kritsana Hukharnvit

Medium: Acrylic painting

Size: 30 × 30 cm

Short Description: A glowing night view of Bangkok, capturing the energy of a city that never truly sleeps.

Artwork Description: Bangkok Awake portrays Bangkok as a city alive through the night. The idea came from the artist’s own sleepless nights while reflecting on the creative brief, eventually becoming an artwork about the rhythm, lights, and restless beauty of the city.

Using flicks and splashes of paint, the artwork creates the feeling of city lights scattered across Bangkok’s skyline. It expresses that Thailand is not only rich in culture and tradition, but also home to a modern city with its own striking beauty, energy, and atmosphere.
